The advantages of this method are lower cost, relatively less oil consumption, and relatively simple operation process, which can be carried out by general repair shops. However, its drawbacks are also obvious. Due to the complex internal structure of the gearbox, there are many grooves and corners, and gravity oil change is difficult to completely drain the old oil. Usually, only about 50-60% of the old oil can be replaced, which means that the newly added oil will mix with the residual old oil, thereby affecting the performance and service life of the new oil and shortening the maintenance cycle of the gearbox.

At the same time, squeeze out the old oil to form a cycle in the gearbox until the color of the drained oil is basically the same as that of the newly injected oil, indicating that most of the old oil has been replaced. The advantage of this method is that the oil change is more thorough, and more than 80% -90% of the old oil can be replaced, greatly reducing the pollution of old oil to new oil, allowing the gearbox to work in a cleaner environment, thereby extending the maintenance cycle of gearbox oil and providing better protection for the gearbox. However, the oil change of the circulation machine also has its shortcomings. Firstly, the operation process is relatively complex and requires professional equipment and technical personnel to operate; Secondly, its cost is relatively high because more new oil needs to be used during the oil change process. Generally speaking, changing oil in a circulation machine consumes 4-5L more new oil than changing oil by gravity, which leads to an overall increase in cost. Moreover, when the circulation machine works, it will apply a certain pressure to the gearbox. Although it will not cause damage to the gearbox under normal circumstances, there is a certain theoretical risk involved.
