汽车自动变速箱常见的有四种型式,分别是液力自动变速箱(简称AT)、机械无级自动变速箱(简称CVT)、电控机械自动变速箱(简称AMT)、DCT(双离合自动变速箱Dual Clutch Transmission)。
There are four common types of automatic transmissions for automobiles, namely hydraulic automatic transmission (AT), mechanical continuously variable transmission (CVT), electronically controlled mechanical automatic transmission (AMT), and DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission).

AT不用离合器换档,档位少变化大,连接平稳,因此操作容易,既给开车人带来方便,也给坐车人带来舒适。但缺点也多,一是对速度变化反应较慢,没有手动变速箱灵敏;二是费油不经济,传动效率低变矩范围有限。
AT does not require a clutch to shift gears, with minimal gear changes and smooth connections, making it easy to operate and providing both convenience and comfort for drivers and passengers. But there are also many disadvantages. Firstly, it has a slow response to speed changes and is not as sensitive as a manual gearbox; Secondly, fuel consumption is uneconomical, with low transmission efficiency and limited torque range.
机械式无级自动变速箱的特点是变速比不是间断的点,而是一系列连续的值,从而能更好地协调车辆外界行驶条件与发动机负载,可充分发挥发动机潜力,提高整车燃料经济性,它使汽车具有没有漏洞的牵引性能,从而显著地提高整车性能。
