1、自动变速箱(AT),这是最常用的类型,市场上绝大部分车型都配备了AT变速箱。AT变速箱的优点包括技术相对稳定、使用范围广泛等。但是,与MT相比,AT的成本较高,开发难度也较大。此外,AT的顿挫感较强,换挡速度也不如其他类型。

4、无级变速箱(CVT),它是最新的自动挡变速箱技术之一。与传统变速箱不同,CVT没有固定的齿轮组,而是通过液压和传动带调整转速的方式实现不同挡位的切换。CVT变速箱具有平稳性好的优点,几乎感觉不到一点顿挫感,但由于扭矩有限、维修不太方便,因此在一些车型上应用较少。
